Treatment options Print

Arthritis New Zealand has built up an extensive range of information, drawn from within New Zealand and overseas, to help you understand more about arthritis, and how it is treated. There are no instant "cures" but a great deal of knowledge about medication, treatment and exercise has been built up which may help improve mobility and relieve pain.

On-going research and progress is being made in finding out what causes arthritis and how it can be more effectively controlled.

Specific information about your own condition should come from your doctor who is best able to diagnose symptoms and prescribe the appropriate treatment. We encourage you to contact your nearest Arthritis New Zealand Educator. Go to the Contact Us section to find your local service centre.
