Well-dressed New Zealanders who care to give can auction their pre-loved and new fashion pieces now on the-collection. What makes it different to other auction sites is that the seller gives a percentage of the auction to Arthritis New Zealand.
“So I thought...Why not use these clothes to make money for the charities we believed in and, if we wanted, still make something for ourselves too. And so the-collection was born.” Everyone’ s welcome at the-collection. Community is also important for the-collection team. They need sellers and buyers to all get involved for the-collection to work for everyone: “We will send you ‘ thank you’ notes, pick up clothes for you, find your favourite charity, anything...as long as it’ s caring, giving and makes good for others”.
